They gave me all information and details by phone conversation as well as by email.

Then on 16th July 2018, first time I came to Olmec, Delhi to start my consultation and hormones therapy. I first time meet Dr. Narendra Kaushik and he gave me good support & confidence to go ahead for my journey, On 18th July 2018, I started my HRT as per endocrinologist consultation. From that day I felt so happy because I have started my journey to become complete me.

Today I complete my 1 year HRT and I pursue my forehead feminization surgery and Rhinoplasty from Olmec. My nose did not have good aesthetics and not suits to my face. Dr. Kaushik operated it very nicely and sharply. Hope it becomes beautiful. At Olmec, I feel the good experience All staff is very nice &n good-hearted. All the people care me a lot. I came here with my boyfriend. After surgery due to office work he went back to the work and I was alone here. At that time all staff including Dr. Kaushik & Dr. Sunanda cares me a lot. My every morning is start with good morning of sister having pleasant smile with injection & Drip bottle in her hands… even though I do not feel afraid of it. The Leena madam & their colleagues at reception take care of my daily food requirement. They all care me more than a patient but like their little sister. The smiling faces of all people feel me nice. I confident that now I complete myself.

The cleaning & housekeeping staff is very particular about their work. Not even a single stain I ever seen anywhere. I am from Maharashtra, 1124 km away from my home town but kitchen staff cares me about my daily meal, Khichadi or Daliya with a small amount of salt makes my day. Sisters of Olmec with the pink uniform is one of my favorite friends in Olmec. All the sisters are nice & caring. The Digital Nurse call System is a nice invention in Hospitality. I have ever seen anywhere. All rooms are good furnished & equipped with an A. C, Fridge, Toilet, Air Purifier, Furniture, Wardrobe. I stay here for 15 days but not even a single complaint is their about anything in Olmec.

Dr. Kaushik & Sunanda Madam meet & conversation with me most of the time. When I am getting bored T.V is there & sisters are there to feel me not alone. I experience very nice in Olmec. At Olmec I start my journey from Makarand to Meera & all are with me. Today I want to share something very important regarding myself and hopefully, I can explain how much this means to me. It’s all about being a man. I am sure all of you have heard this tag ‘BE A MAN’ 1000 times in your life, some get this tag since birth but others have to fight to gain that…I FOUGHT AND I WON…I always looked at myself & asked what do u see staring back at you? The answer was obvious I saw a Man. I realized that every day I tried very hard to play a role which I don’t even belong. I knew that this was not just a phase I was going through all my life. I have tried hard to conceal my womanly features with each passing day but nothing changed and here m today “TRANSITIONING”. Of course, it is extremely difficult, expensive and tiring as well. The hardest part is that a lot of people don’t understand even don’t care to understand. Nobody likes to explain themselves all the time especially in the world as judgmental as ours just to prove who you are. So I decided to stop worrying about what everyone else around me thinks as 27 years was a long time to live a life and not to be completely true to yourself.

I want people to understand that just because something is different or new doesn’t mean it’s wrong or weird. I would rather want people to ask questions than assume what the answer would be. I also don’t want all of u to accept me out of pity. I request each and every individual to understand my decision and the process I have decided to put myself through to be who I am. I am not trying to act like anything I’m not, this is just me. And that’s why I decided to change my gender surgically because in the end, it’s more important to love yourself rather than being worried about everybody else. It would be an injustice if I don’t mention about my surgeon Dr. NARENDRA KAUSHIK. Thank you so much, sir, for being my surgical father because of u only m alive today. Eventually, now I can breathe confidently. It’s like the puzzle pieces are finally fitting together. Still, not a single day is stress-free and I have a bunch of obstacles to overcome and dysmorphia to face yet. But to be honest I feel a lot more like myself and that makes life more ecstatic. I know since last few months (infect almost a year) I have completely secluded myself from everyone but I did it just to find myself and now I have done that with pride.

Finally one message to society As a result of stigma, many people may be treated with disrespect, harassed or physically harmed by teachers, peers, strangers or even family members which is extremely hurtful. Not a single person can imagine how hard it is to face discrimination until they also pass through the same situation. I want people to understand it doesn’t matter what someone looks like if someone has guts to tell about their sexual orientation or regarding their gender dysphoria please believe them and be there for them because stereotypes need to be broken. It is helpful to remember that an individual’s affirmed gender identity is authentic to them, even it seems surprising to you. One thing is must to share with everyone that I know I took long time to go through this because I was sure as hell that success is the only answer to every question so it’s a request from my side that please make yourself that much capable that one has to think twice before raising their voice against you and that can only be achieved by education. Just believe in yourself nothing is impossible in life.

I hope I was able to express my message appropriately. I assure everyone that I am the same person whom you know since years. My gender won’t change me as a person n hope that won’t change my relationship with everybody else as well. But yes it’s completely your own choice to be with me or not. I have just changed my body not my soul and I think that should be enough for all. So I wish all of you will honor my new name that is DR SHIVAY BACHANI (ORAL AND MAXILLOFACIAL SURGEON) and gender. I Travelled from England to Delhi on my own on 17 April 2018. I was very excited to be coming here to get myself ‘fixed’. I was not nervous at all.

On arrival at Delhi airport I was met by Mr. Subodh as promised, although it took me a while to find him as I excited the airport terminal at the wrong point my fault.

When I arrived at the clinic I was made very welcome from moment I stepped through the door. All the staff greeted me and presented me with a beautiful garland of fresh flowers. I was shown my room which I was very impressed with my own en-suite bathroom, ward able for my cloths and all very clean, tidy and homely.

After performing a few cardiac tests and discussion with the doctor regarding my breast implants. I had the breast augmentation surgery the next day on the 19th April.

All the sisters and staff were extremely professional and caring all so friendly and always there when I needed any help.

The day of my sigma lead SRS was 23rd April 2018, I struggled a lot with bowel emptying the night before that liquid I had to drink tasted absolutely vile and made me vomit every time I tried drinking it, Later on the Doctor came to see me, After a quick and the realization that if my bowels were not …. then surgery may be delayed…..I drunk that stuff down.

So the big day arrived and I was moved to operation room, I was so excited, not nervous at all.

It was a very strange experience being under anesthetic, I knew I was in safe hands, happy in the knowledge that when I wake up I would be fixed.

When I wakeup it was amazing moment to realize that the operation was a success.

I am now 3 weeks post op drom my SRS. Recovery so far has been tougher than I expected, but then again everyone heals differently.

Again I cannot fault the staff here always so caring and friendly, we often have a joke and a laugh too, sharing music and photos and talking about our different culture/ countries.

I would highly recommend Olmec to everyone considerding surgery, I have to fly back to England in two days time, but I really don’t want to as I am going to miss u all the wonderful people I am met have.

There was a dream I had from my childhood. That’s to become a boy. At that time I was not sure whether I could make it a reality. But when I grew up I learnt that I could make my dream come true by an operation. Since then I started Collecting information, facts and more details about it.

Firstly my mind went towards Bangkok as at that time for this particular operation they had more experience. But my mom’s financial situation was not that sound to spend so much as she was shouldering every responsibility of mine by herself. Also she did not agree with me on this issue as I’m the only child and it was not even heard in Sri lanka at that time.

Later on when she realized that I was not giving up my idea slowly but surely she realized that I was not giving up my idea slowly but surely she changed her attitude towards a very positive target. I felt that I have won my battle halfway.

Due to business disasters she lost a major Portion of her income. Therefore we had to mark time until we collect some money.

I did not give my journey any moment. But there were ups and downs. By this time I had done my breast operation, Then only I learnt about Dr. Kaushik of India through internet. By this time with the blessings of god we had enough money to go forward with my operation. Then on my Sri–Lankan doctor’s advice I did my hysterectomy last November (2016) and came and met Dr. Kaushik personally, there also we were taken aback When I saw the condition of the infrastructure and surroundings. I was in two minds, whether to find a new doctor or to do what’s next.

we came and met Subodh first, I expressed my negative impression to him. I was truely scared to go through this major operation within these walls. I am ever grateful and thankful to Subodh as it was him, him and him only got my fears out of my mind and strongly infused the idea of believing in Doctor’s ability, efficiency and experience rather than the outlooks of the building and surroundings.

we came for the appointment fixed at 3pm December 7th (2016) though my mother gave the consent and blessings she was mortally scared, but after meeting Dr. Kaushik and following his explanations, she was very confident that nothing will go wrong as he is such an experienced person in this field. It came to me as a blessing as my mom is a heart patient.

From that day, it took exactly twelve (12) long months to come back to ”Olmec” and we were welcome so dearly according to the Indian culture.

we met the Doctor, he examined me and examined me and explained how the operation is going to be and we went to the hotel. we admitted to ‘Olmec’ on the 8th night, 9th morning was the operation. There came three members of the caring nursing staff and geared me for the operation. Dr. Kaushik himself came and took me to the theatre.

Everything went on well they said. I was happy they took only four and a half hours for (4) operations together.

I was reborn at 2:05 pm on 9th Nov 2017. I had to wait for 41 years of my age to become what I wanted to be.

Thanks to Dr. Kaushik, his efficient assistants and his loyal staff. I am able to face the society as a man by all means.

I would like to very gratefully remind of the advice gratefully remind of the advice given to me by Subodh. If not for his strong advice and the ability he had to convince us, my dream would have been still a dream making me mad. Subodh, Thank you very much.

I wholeheartedly recommend Dr. Kaushik for anyone considering SRS or any other procedure. I came from a small town in Alaska and was very nervous about being in the big city in India. Dr. Kaushik and the entire staff went out of their way to ensure, I was emotionally comfortable while I was so far from my home. Even on a couple of days, “I had bad days here”, the nurse staff kept their smile and all made point of it, to come to talk with me until my smile returned. I cannot thank them enough for that level of care that had nothing to do with surgery.

The surgery went very well and very little pain overall. The day after each procedure there was a pain but well controlled with pain relievers. The second day after chest surgery I was up and walking around town. Four days after SRS surgery again, I was out walking around town without pain. I am very pleased with how the surgeon and how quickly they are healing up.

It is very excellent that Dr. Kaushik cases deeply for his patient and treat each one with great respect and as individuals and he instill the same level of care and respect into his entire staff.

Choosing surgery is a big decision, and SRS is no exception. After years of researching, I finally came across an internationally respected surgeon from India. Dr. Narendra Kaushik, SRS is one of the important and difficult choices a trans woman will ever make. Personally, I considered a lot of things before proceeding to the surgery such as choosing the best surgeon. SRS Technique, Pre and Post-op caves, and cost. I chose Dr. Kaushik because I was impressed mainly with his technique and the positive feedback from the trans community. I have compared his sigmoid colon vaginoplasty to other surgeons and his technique is way above others.

I had my SRS successfully done on 22nd January 2018 The Olmec Cosmetic Surgery. Waking-up Post-Surgery I had a look of my neovagina and it is very close to a cis woman genitalia despite swelling around. I am one-month Post-Op at time of writing this review. My recovery was fast, on the 6-7 day I was already walking around and on my day 12th. I was discharged to my hotel.

Pre-operatively, the staff was very nice and hospitable. The floor manager (Richa) showed me around Delhi. We went shopping and she made sure I am well fed.

Post-operatively, the nurses were very caring. As a Registered Nurse myself, I received an internationally standard of care. Although there was a bit of language barrier they always check with Dr. Kaushik to ensure that I only get quality of care.

When I was discharged to my hotel, Miss Sunanda Kaushik was my lifetime. Even I was alone initially on my recovery. Miss Sunanda has been very helpful in ensuring that I am comfortable and all my concerns were attended to. She also arranged a complimentary trip to Taj Mahal with my boyfriend which was an amazing way to experience the country.

From consultation day to traveling back home, Dr. Kaushik has been very helpful and informative and covered all my questions. I felt his compassion and care towards helping trans women. I was a little unsure when approaching the building from the outside as to the quality of the facility, but once I was inside I was very impressed with how equipped the operating theatre was. Dr. Kaushik’s knowledge and skill are very advanced.

Overall, after one-month Post-Op, I am very happy with my progress and my neo-vagina looks absolutely aesthetically pleasant looking.

Hi,

My name is Rasika. I distinctly remember the first time I walked into OLMEC. Little did I know that it was like walking into the new doors of the new life in store for me.

I was always a woman since the childhood, but somehow I had suppressed that desire for a very long time. One cannot even begin to explain what it is like being trapped in another body and pretend to conform to the social norms set by others.

I had first approached Dr. Kaushik to address the receding hairline that I had started to experience. During the consultation, the doctor brought up the possibility of changing my hairline completely which would give me a feminine look. He caught my attention, and I allowed him to continue with the possibilities in store for me. How easily did he make the whole transition sound! I viewed the pictures of the other patients who had undergone similar procedures and was awestruck upon viewing those pictures.

Was it possible for me to go through this transition? Well, one has to leap of faith to reach new heights. He did explain to me the procedure of SRS, and it sounded adventurous.

The next question was; is it just having a vagina that will make me a real woman? What about the facial features? I was in no rush to get all the answers right away as it was too much to register. I decided to take one step at a time.

I got myself admitted for the first Hair Transplant procedure in March 2017 and enrolled myself for the laser treatment to combat the facial hair. In a few months, I was delighted to see the change in my hairline and the new hair shooting along the reconstructed hairline. While the progress was beginning to take its shape, I continued my consultation with Dr. Kaushik. I started my HRT side by side.

I followed the plan he laid out for me and decided to put my trust in him. I had a typical masculine nose which I did not like much. The next surgical process I decided to undergo was Rhinoplasty. It was not just the nose that I was concerned about; it was the male hormones still being produced by the body thus nullifying the effect of HRT that I was undergoing. After all, it was no ride to change the effect drastically at my age. Yes, AGE is what I was highly stressed about. Someone going through the transition before the puberty is rather simpler, or even someone who decides to accept the challenge in the 20s is acceptable but was it possible for someone to go through the hormonal change in late 30s? How successful would the results be? These were the key apprehensions which Dr. Kaushik repeatedly addressed and put my fears to rest. Hence I decided to undergo Orchiectomy along with the rhinoplasty. After all, I was super excited and did not want to waste much time living in another body which I did not relate to. Hence I had another consultation before the procedure to see if I could club some other procedures along with it. Finally, we decided to go for Rhinoplasty, Orchiectomy, Adam’s apple removal and voice change procedures at the same time.

So, my second surgery was scheduled in June 2017. The change once again was remarkable. I almost did not recognize my voice when I heard it for the first time post the surgery. My nose was protruding hence the result was not what I expected; after all how much smaller could Dr. make in just one procedure? Nevertheless, it was much better in shape than before. After all the results post any cosmetic surgery takes time to reveal the results.

With the testicles having removed I almost already felt like a new person. It was an emotional shift along with the physical. I was now even more keen to undergo the rest of the procedures to transition to a new body. The next procedure I underwent was Breast Augmentation in October.

The feeling after the best augmentation was beyond imagination. I was thoroughly satisfied with the results as I already felt like a new person. By then, the HRT medicines had already started to show the results.

Finally, it was time for a BIG surgical procedure “SRS,” and it was scheduled exactly one month after the previous surgery. The date decided was November 20, 2017. What was a big roller coaster ride it? As the days started to get closer, the heartbeat raced faster and faster. At one point it felt like my heart would jump out …

I got admitted on November 19, 2017, to embrace my new life in OLMEC.

Once again the result post SRS was phenomenal. Hardly anyone could distinguish between God made, and Dr. Kaushik made a vagina. No doubt like any surgery, there is always a little bit of pain, but with the help of painkillers administered from time to time, I was well taken care of.

The major hurdle was already crossed post-SRS; what was left was a fine-tuning of the facial features to pass as a complete woman. As recommended by Dr. Kaushik, the next facial feminization procedure would be Malar Implants to help alleviate the cheekbones. I decided to club it with Forehead reconstruction surgery and the procedure was scheduled in December. Once again, I was thrilled with the results. The next step to further feminize the facial feature was reducing the chin from rounder to a narrower shape. Under the expertise of Dr. Kaushik, I had no doubt that it could not be achieved. I decided to club this one along with a second Rhinoplasty to further narrow the tip of the nose. The results met my expectation.

Now, I live as a normal woman with a job in MNC and identity as a woman. Many people don’t even live one life as desired, how lucky am I to have been born again in the same lifetime?

This journey would not have been possible without the expertise of Dr. Narendra Kaushik who I believe is a Brahma for all the people operated by him.

I Chose Olmec as the place for SRS based on a number of reasons. The first, and most important to me, was Dr. Kaushik and his technique. I tried to do as much research as possible and to me, sigma lead seemed to be the best choice. What led me this decision is the quick recovery, functional nature of the vagina and realistic cosmetic appearance. I made other enquiries and found that the price would be affordable too. Finally, I was greatly reassured when reading about Dr Kaushik’s experience with this and other Procedures. He comes across as someone whose true calling is the advancement of surgery itself; someone who has really moved things forward in the field More than anything it was this that led to my final decision. Rather than possibly paying a lot more to someone using outdated, unregined practices.

Once that was done I found the process of booking the surgery to be relatively straight forward. These were things I had to do such as blood tests, however, it was communicated in good time and in clear English.

I waited for the surgery date, got on a plane to New Delhi and was met by the clinic’s driver and the biggest ethical shock I have so far experienced, probably will ever experience! Heat, humidity, dust and dirt. Too much noise and traffic to think clearly until we reached Olmec. Once inside, it was calm. We were blessed and given tea and things finally felt right for the first time since landing.

A day later, I was admitted and had surgery the following morning. Since then it’s all been about the recovery. At times it’s been painful, and boring and stressful however I have never been alone. The quality of care has been outstanding from the sisters. They have always been kind, gentle and keen to fulfil every request. I have not wanted for anything from dishes, good, cleaning & hygiene. The little things they do standout; taking the time to chat on or to brush my hair when I couldn’t. I would like to mention Melody specially and Kim as two I got on particularly well with.

Away from the medical side of things my parents, who travelled with me, had difficulty with their original accommodation and needed to be moved at short notice. Olmec was of enormous help finding them another apartment and helping with some of the details. As well as practical things like taking my parent’s shopping. Minakshi was amazingly helpful for this. As mom was coming to see me Mr Gaur was great driving with us to all sorts of places reliably and safely through the impossible traffic in New Delhi. Also, thank you to Subodh Sharma for helping my parents with a no. of tech queries.

At the moment it’s too early to say what the outcome of the surgery will be. I can take heart in Dr Kaushik saying he is pleased and from first impressions, I can see why. I have sensation, swelling is going down already and everything seems to be working as it should. I am happy finally, and feel as if I have closed a door behind me. I won’t leave here the same person. I will leave here as who I should have been. She and I finally, fully absorbed into one another to create for the first time, a complete woman. I am me now, which is surely the point

For that alone, I would say it’s been a total success.

Olmec was Personally recommended to me, by previous patients, and has proved to be the best choice I could have made.

I was able to have a full range of Pre-operative assessment tests prior to Surgery to decide the best surgical options and ensure my safety. Dr Kaushik explained everything clearly to myself and my partner, both before and after the surgery.

Anaesthesia and pain relief was good and the only pain that experienced was due to run pre-existing musculo-skeltal issues, rather than the surgery. I was given anti-Coagulant via a pump and a pneumatic compress on my legs to avoid DVT.

I can’t comment on the Long term as yet, but it’s looking good so far. Dr Kaushik aimed to preserve nerve/sensation function in my genitalia, and if anything the diatoris is hypersensitive at present. I also had Breast implants and my breasts and nipples are also very sensitive after a week. I moved out of the clinic, to a nearby apartment, the clinic allowed us a phone to use & helped out this transportation to my review appointments, nothing was too much trouble for them.

The whole team is second to none, welcoming, skilled, experienced and earning.

They are completely different to anything that I have ever experienced in the UK, and certainly very superior.

VERY HAPPY!!! It was a great decision to come over to India all the way from New York, so far,I could not be happier with the results! The day after was all the Pre-Surgery preparation which went smoothly. Finally it was the day of the surgery. Before I Knew it , I was back in my after Surgery care unit. To be honest I did not have much discomfort at all other than expected Pain until the ” Air Pockets” passed through . After that most of discomforts were lessened. While the recovery, I was under 24 hrs Supervision by a team of nurses and other Assistants All Lead by and supervised by Dr. Kaushik himself.

My condition continued to improve with each passing day. My biggest Surprise was how painless the entire recovery period was. I can say I have the right Decision by far to Come to Olmec. Specially all the horror stories I have heard from some other girls who opted for penile Inversion Technique. The Best part for me is the Dialation or lack there or from Sigmoid Vaginoplasty. Today I had my first Dialation. I was Surprised how easy and pain free,it was. I will only have to Dilate Twice a day.

To the Human side of things, I must say I was so touched by Everyone, I mean Everyone From the nurses , To the house keepers to the office service coordinator to the patient coordinator. Their Services were most heartfelt, Genuine and most importantly Comforting. I was here by myself but the staff made me feel quite at home. The level of Personal touch of everyone was unparalleled to anything, I have experienced a long while, I was so so touched When Dr. Sunanda, the Beautiful Wife of Dr. Kaushik brought me home made meals . Today’s Menu was rice with Corn. Dr. Sunanda Came to check up on me Everyday, At least twice a day,her presence was so soothing and comforting and made me feel so special. Over this past month, I have built some great bonds with the Staff. I know I will certainly miss them all and will remember them for a long time Without their support, I can’t Imagine how I would feel specially going through this on my own.

I would highly recommend Olmec and Dr. Kaushik and his Team to anyone who is even considering having sigmoid colon Vaginoplasty. I will definitely be back to possibly have some other Procedures Done. In the many days of our lifetime we tend to forget most of them. However, there are those few cherished & unforgettable days. The birth of my baby boys, my wedding day, college graduation, and 10/16/2016. I am complete! On Oct 13 boarded a plane from Miami to Delhi, India. I have to admit that I was terrified! I had waited so many years for this trip to arrive….. but India, that wasn’t in my plan! After months & months of research I learned of the Olmec clinic. Most Americans would consider eastern medicine out dated & safe, but every review I read had positive results. The cost was my second factor. At ¼ the price of SRS in the USA & ½ the price of Thailand- India was looking more appealing. I telephoned the Olmec Clinic & within hours I received all the information needed to proceed with my surgery.

On top of that – I received a phone call from the Dr. Himself – I was actually pinching myself to make sure I wasn’t imagining this! Metoidioplasty is the term used for the procedure of converting clitoral tissue into penile shape. The patients who don’t want to opt for complete phalloplasty with free flap (usually owing to complexity and cost factor involved), can opt for metoidioplasty. The clitoris gets enlarged under the influence of testosterone hormonal therapy. The enlarged clitoris is released and elongated to give a penile shape. The tissue is erotic and sensate and develops erections, though length is not sufficient for sexual intercourse (length is only one or two inches). Metoidioplasty does satisfy the process for most of documents.

Duration of Procedure: 1 -2 hrs. You may go home on the same day, though if you wish you may stay overnight.

Honestly I did not think I was going to be accepted so cordially by the doctor and staff. I am a transgender woman and there were no induction of any discrimination or side talk. It’s been a great experience till now. The doctor knows what he does and he knows exactly what to do with the problems and the request that live had. The staff is very helpful warm, welcome and very hospitable. There are rooms for improvement but as per my observation, the rooms of improvement are tiny. It was worth it to travel half way around the world from the south western United States.

I am a Trans activist back in my own country and give talks at colleges and non- profit in New Mexico & colorado. This clinic is now going to become part of my presentation.

Dr. Kaushik and the entire staff at Olmec cosmetic surgery are wonderful and caring people and I will always member them.
